A few clues didn't come out the way they were meant to, some in the original, some in translation. Here is what readers have caught, by edition, with our thanks; publishers correct them in later printings. If you spot one that isn't listed, write to contact@murdoku.com.
Puzzle 76The Estate: the note grid shows a different wall layout in the last column from the main grid. The main grid is correct, and the solution is unaffected.
Puzzle 79
- Cassey's clue refers to Kim; the intended name is Kelly.
- Step 7 of the solution says "Pasture"; it should read "Farmyard".
Puzzle 79NoteClarification: Some readers report a mistake where J is in the Garden on the solution grid, while the text says the Farmyard. There is no error, and page 164 shows it clearly: the mud puddle where J ends up is in the Farmyard.
NoteClarification: A few clues say "beside a window". This means the same thing as "in front of a window".
Puzzle 21The Hideout: the solution says "since C or E must occupy C6 and C7"; it should read "since F and E must occupy C6 and C7 in some order."
Puzzle 30Train Heist: some copies have a misprint with missing letters in the solution text.
Puzzle 31NoteClarification: A and E are not outlaws themselves.
Puzzle 32NoteClarification: The Great Plains: Akecheta's clue "not with the outlaw" could be read as allowing Akecheta to be the outlaw. He isn't.
Puzzle 39Step 3 of the solution says B and V occupy R6 and R7; it should read C6 and C7.
Puzzle 56
- Step 3 of the solution says "two people in R2 C4"; it should read R2 C6.
- Step 4 of the solution says "H isn't in R8 and is in R4 C3"; it should read R4 C2.
Puzzle 67The House of Embalming: on the solution grid, the horizontal table in row 3 is drawn in columns 4 and 5. It belongs in columns 3 and 4, as on the puzzle grid; the solution itself is unaffected.
Puzzle 80A potted plant under the fountain isn't greyed out on the note grid; it cannot be occupied.
